I began Annex in 1973, sole owner, and editor. For the contents I drew on the people I knew personally, some since I was fourteen, like Bob Perelman and Jim Greenberg, the author of 'Blood Ties'. In issues that followed I included other Ann Arbor friends- Blue Gene Tyranny and David Kozubei, as well as works by Rosmarie Waldrop, Bruce Andrews, Anne Waldman, Asa Benveniste, Alan Davies, Charles Bernstein, Yuri Mamelyev and Daniil Kharms the Russian absurdist.
There were never two editors of the Annex magazines or books. There seems to be someone using the Annex Press name without my permission to do so...
I've moved any discussion of this question to the site
